The girls’ first full day of school was last Thursday. A group of parents were waiting outside the door for the bell to ring at 3:30. Suddenly, without even a warning drop of rain, the heavens opened up and streams of water started falling from the sky. The bell rang and kids ran screaming out into the rain, looking for their parents.
Even though I had brought my umbrella, we were soaked by the time we got home!
And now, suddenly, it’s Monday morning and school is in session again!
You may have guessed by now that our prompt for this week is “Suddenly…”

Oh my… suddenly. I will do my best, but won’t promise to be back this week, what with my summer holiday coming up and all!
We’d love to have you back whenever you’re ready! Enjoy your holiday!
Wonderful prompt and suddenly…it was Monday morning again and the week before school was to start for us again! Seriously, still can’t believe how quickly the summer came and went and still not ready for the fall and definitely not winter now for sure!!
Oh, I am really not ready for winter! Today is a little too hot and muggy for me, but I’ll take that over the cold and snow we had last winter any day!
This is a tough one! Thanks Ginny!
Oh, that’s a good one! So many suddenlys in our days..
My suddenly… summer is almost over. School starts early there! It doesn’t start around here until the day after Labor Day.
