After the girls are tucked in for the night, I like to pour myself a glass of wine. While sipping my wine, I’ll work on a blog post or watch a comedy with Ed on TV. It’s even better when I’m able to enjoy one of my programs all by myself!
When O Wines offered to send me some wine to review, I was happy to oblige! They sent me two different varieties; a chardonnay and red wine. Here is a description of their wines from their website, owines.com:
O Wines Chardonnay Tasting Notes
Enjoyable, lightly oaked style with appealing fruit flavors and great mouth feel. Delicious as a cocktail wine, yet pairs well with foods.
O Wines Red Wine Tasting Notes
Fruit forward, easy to enjoy red blend with lively fruit characters and balanced on the palate.
I was even happier to taste test O Wines when I read the back of the bottle:
O is for Opportunity. Your purchase helps O Wines provide scholarships to low income young women so they can meet their highest potential through education. We thank you in advance for your support!
O Wines Chardonnay has a light, balanced taste. It would blend perfectly with one of my favorite summer meals of grilled trout and asparagus. The red wine, a varietal wine of merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah, also has a very nice flavor. It would be equally nice with a casual meal of burgers or a special steak dinner. Visit O Wines’ website, owines.com, to purchase your own bottles of O Wines and to support scholarships for women!
(I received four bottles of O Wines to review. All opinions are my own and no other compensation was received.)
I ams o with you on Sunday night and wine. But for me it is TrueBlood all the way π

I don’t drink that much wine. And only ever white or rosΓ© when I do. But, if I were to review a free bottle of wine, I think I would stretch myself to red. Because I am that nice you know π

I’m a white wine drinker! But this red made me smile. I loved both! You video also made me smile. Good to see you! π

Sounds like a good deal! If you ever need a back-up drinker (or “a second” – like Danny was for Kenicke in Grease), I’m your lady. π
I was happy to read the O is for opportunity and not Oprah. She’s cool and all, but I think she overextends herself. Take a nap already, Oprah.

Ha! Yes, I completely agree about Oprah, and get worked up whenever I see her name on my Starbuck’s mocha!

I have tried O Wines before and they are very good! The fact that they help provide scholarships for women is so inspiring. I wish more companies did this! Cheers Ginny!

I think your little video would be great for an O Wine or Good Wife commercial! I miss watching the Good Wife and would love to get back into it π

Love your video. And love O Wines too! I’m definitely a red wine girl and O Wines did not disappoint. I also love that the wine supports low income women so they can go to college. Win-win!

Love your video! Sunday nights are my favorite to watch television too. I’m not much a a wine drinker either but try a glass every once in a while.
