Where in the World? Watching Fireworks

Every year for Independence Day, we go to a local high school to watch fireworks.

When we were waiting for the fireworks to start, Emmy thought the stadium lights looked pretty.

I tried the fireworks setting on my camera. The photos I took turned out okay…but I was hoping for better!

Lily has always loved fireworks. Emmy? Not so much. She spent most of the evening with her hands over her ears, trying to burrow her little body into my lap. Maybe she’ll enjoy them more next summer, when she’s a little older.

  1. Good Morning Ginny Sweetie…I too love the photo of the stadium lights. It is beautiful with the silhouetted outlines of the people standing. A beautiful shot. The fireworks are just beautiful. Seeing as how I was not allowed outside to see the fireworks, I have enjoyed looking at yours. Thank you for sharing.Have a beautiful day sweet friend. Many hugs and much love…Sherry

  2. I had similar luck with the fireworks shots on my camera, and a similar kid reaction – B, my oldest, hated the smell, while T, my little guy found them quite enthralling!
