As everyone probably does, I go through phases. When I am writing less on my blog, I am probably reading more books. This year, for my Goodreads reading challenge, I challenged myself to read 30 books in 2016. Last week, I reached my goal! Some books I absolutely loved, like The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, and others I merely finished to say I did, such as Eragon, by Christopher Paolini. I abandoned a couple of books completely after the first couple chapters because I just couldn’t read any more, so they are not on the list.
See all the books I read this year here: 2016 Goodread Challenge, done!
Good on you! I think I may not have passed the mark yet, but since I didn’t enter any of them… Silly of me I know.
Mara recently posted…Nope
I think there may have been a couple of books I forgot to enter, but I have no idea what they were! Most of the books I read are from the library, so once they go back I forget their titles.
That is awesome! I need to try that for 2017. And sorry about your father-in-law.
Sometimes I make my goal, some times I don’t! But it’s fun to try. Thank you so much for your sympathy. My father-in-law was a kind man and will be missed!
