“Beauty is in the Hand of the Beerholder.” I saw this saying on a T-shirt AFTER Gretchen and I decided what this week’s Spin Cycle prompt is! I had dinner at a brewery last night, and enjoyed some pumpkin beer and good conversation.
The prompt, however, is not about beer. It’s about beauty. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” is how the real saying goes. One of my favorite sonnets from Shakespeare begins “My mistress’ eyes are nothing like the sun.” Is beauty is only skin deep?
