- I can blow dry my hair in the morning without breaking into a sweat.
- I can cook dinner on my stove without heating up the kitchen and breaking into a sweat.
- I can enjoy a hot cup of tea without…do I really need to say it again?
- It gets dark earlier, so my daughters don’t complain that their bedtime is too early.
- We can open the windows without swarms of bugs coming in through our holey screens.
- The choir at our church begins again. I love to sing…la, la, la, la, la!
- I can sit on my front porch without getting eaten alive by those pesky mosquitoes.
- Our annual visit to Iowa to see my dad.
- Pumpkins, squash, and gourds, oh, my!
- CARAMEL APPLES!
Edited to add — a picture of gourds for Mara!
I hear you on the sweat! That was fun. I remember when my children were little and I was working full time. It was so hard to get them to bed in the summer because it was so darn bright outside.
What on earth are gourds? It sounds really nasty and dirty, but for some reason I can't knit those two together.
I can't believe my husbands old car made the blog:) I forget how beautiful the trees look in front of our houses. Thanks for reminding me.
I love your list. I chose to write about Fall too and I looove caramel apples! 🙂
I agree with so much on your list–except the getting dark earlier part. :)On my own personal list, #10 would have to be amended to "ALL things apple." (Perhaps that's already obvious based on my own blog entries as of late.)As for #9, keep an eye on my blog. I plan to have a pumpkin recipe before the month is over!
I totally agree with everything! 🙂
Tea…. oh, thanks for reminding me! I haven't had much tea since last winter. Some sounds good right now.
Great post!!I chose to write on the same prompt…I love the brisk smell in the air which I seem to enjoy the most in the morning during fall.http://dwivedi2326.blogspot.com/2010/09/im-glad-its-fall.html
I love your list! The hair dryer use without breaking a sweat is so true.
I miss fall!!!! Fall in San Antonio is just like summer, except the mornings and evenings are a wee chilly (then again, I'm still wearing sun dresses).

Totally have to agree on the not breaking into the sweat thing!!!I also love the leaves changing color!!
I love fall and spring…the time when I can open the windows and not have to use A/C nor Heater!!Enjoy your church choir…my husband would so enjoy being a part of a choir again…we don't have choir in our church!
I second opening up windows and carmel apples! I also sing in our church choir- we just started up again too:)Your blog headers are always so cute- I didn't know you made them yourself- awesome job!
