One of my tasks on this week’s calendar is to go over to the school district and show them “proof of residency.” Yes, I have to show three documents proving that my kids can go to school here.
So here is a prompt for you…show us “proof” that you live where you live! How have you personalized your house? What makes your house a home? Take pictures, write descriptions, show us proof!
Link your blog post here any day this week!

I totally had to do this too to prove we lived in our district, when I signed both girls up for Kindergarten (school), too.

It’s kind of a pain, but I understand why they do it. I just wish I didn’t have to go every single year!
I never understood the need for proof of residency until I worked in the office for 5 years at my boys elementary school. Amazing how many people try to use other people’s addresses just so they can go to a certain school!

We have had to do that too, but not every year. Since I work for a school district, I completely understand why they have to do this.
