We totally had fish almost two years ago and it was Hurricane Sandy that did them in with not having electricity sadly enough to power their filter. The girls want a dog badly now, but I need to gear up for that, because I have enough people to clean up after and not sure I am ready to add a dog to that mix just yet 🙂

I am with you completely! I do not want to clean up after another pet. Cleaning the fish tank is work enough! Fortunately, Stripe is just a little goldfish, so we don’t have a filter.
